• Arthritis

Arthritis in dogs is a long-lasting, inflammatory disease which affects the animal's joint health. It is caused when the cartilage between joints becomes less smooth and damaged, causing the surface of the bone to rub together and your dog's joints to stiffen, swell and become painful.

• Dysplasia

Canine hip dysplasia is the abnormal development and growth of a dog's hip joint. It occurs commonly in large breed dogs such as Labrador retrievers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, and Saint Bernards, but it can occur in dogs of any breed and size, and even in cats.

• VIDD

Intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) is an age-related, degenerative condition. However certain, 'at-risk' dogs (chondrodystrophic breeds and crosses) can suffer disc problems from when they are young adult dogs. Disc degeneration is thought to occur because of loss of the disc to “hold water” becoming dehydrated.

• Luaxting

• CCL/ACL

The cranial cruciate ligament (or CCL, see Figure 1) is one of the most important stabilizers inside the knee (also called “stifle”) joint, the middle joint in the back leg. In humans the CCL is called the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
