    My 14-year-old poodle has back and knee problems, in addition to heart, lung, and kidney problems. She can't walk very well on her own (she keeps turning in circles because her balance is shot) and she was very glum about missing out on her favorite activity, catching up on the neighborhood 🌟HOT GOSSIP🌟. I would take her on walks in her stroller, and wherever her schnauzer brother checked the gossip, I'd set her on the ground to sniff too, but then she would turn in circles or fall down after a minute.With this harness, not only does it keep her back a little straighter, but I can also take some of the weight off her feet and then direct her in a straight line when she starts circling, and then she can walk! For two whole blocks! With just a little guidance and assistance from me! And then when she's tired, I can carry her by the shoulder straps.I wish the shoulder straps were detachable, because I think she would benefit from wearing it around the house, and it would make it easier to assist her with her food and water bowls, but as it is, it's great for helping her get mental stimulation and gentle exercise.

    Best thing I found for my 15 y/o Shih Tzu. He’s really small (7.2 lbs) and his hind legs are really weak. About 6 weeks ago, they just kind of gave out and the vet put him on anti inflammatory meds and pain meds. I bought this harness to provide him with support while doing his business but didn’t have high hopes cause my dog is so small. Now, exactly 4 weeks later, he's up to about 80% use of his hing legs!! It took me a few days to get the hang of putting it on him by myself (took 2 people for the first few days) but I couldn’t be happier that I found this thing. I even considered getting another one (just to have something to use while one is washing and drying).My only complaint is that the actual strap adjusts too easily… I had to sew it in one position to keep it from moving while walking.
