After my medium dog was diagnosed with IVDD, I purchased this back brace in hopes that it could help relieve the tension from her spinal column. Since putting the brack brace on her, she has been happy. We are awaiting an MRI and possible surgery.

My girl's back legs suddenly gave out one morning in August 2022. Took her to the vet and the symptoms were somewhere between stage 3 and 4 IVDD. I opted for conservative rest and found this back brace suggested everywhere. I would definitely give huge credit it and would recommend it. It kept her nice and stabilized during the long healing process and she didn't seem to mind it. I think the only cons I could give it is that the material does seem a bit cheap and will stretch out after a few months of use. You may have to DIY/sew some new velcro and trim the stretched material if you want to keep it going or have to buy a new one. It's now May 2023 and she's doing really well in her recovery, and with some lifestyle changes, she's nearly back to her old self.

This was a very well made brace and it fit my dog perfectly (make sure you measure). I did send it back because it honestly made her maneuverability worse. I had seen where back braces can sometimes help, but I guess she just wasn’t one of those dogs. But there was nothing wrong with the product itself.
